Contacting the Emergency Services |
This
YouTube
video
covers two vital things you should know about if you need
to contact the Emergency Services on a mobile phone when out
walking. One is on using 112 rather than 999 to contact
them (far better, for reasons explained in the video). The
other is about using a text message if you can't get a phone
signal.
The link also appears on our Club Downloads page, along with the earlier advice about using a text message in an emergency.
